How does therapy work?
Therapy is a subjective process that relies on the Therapeutic Relationship for ways of finding self-compassion, transformation, and growth. It is important to evaluate the connection to ensure the best possible experience can be explored.
How often should I go to therapy?
Depending on your individual goals and/or issues, you can go to therapy as needed. Often people start weekly and as they progress find that biweekly or monthly is desirable. Again it’s your choice!
What can you expect during your first therapy session?
The first session is a “get to know you” experience. It is a time to ask questions and share your goals and background.
Can you really mix Therapy, Yoga, and Tarot?
Absolutely! Each of these are modalities for connecting & integrating the Psyche, Body, and Soul. The Psyche, Body, and Soul are key pillars in the healing journey. They aid in finding mindful expression of emotions and help towards building practices that leave you feeling authentic in life.
What are your hours?
Sessions are available from Monday to Sunday – however two days a week are blocked per week and this depends on how availability is booked and intuitively changes. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday hours are 9-2 (virtual and in-person availability). Tuesday and Thursday are 3pm-8pm (virtual and in-person availability).
Fees & Sliding Scale & Insurance
I charge $170 for a 50-minute Psychotherapy session. If you are in need of assistance, I offer a Sliding Scale Program that allows you to access therapy on a budget that works for you.
If your insurance company covers mental health services, the title to look for is Registered Psychotherapist. Most companies provide coverage for this group!
How are sessions offered?
Currently, sessions are offered online over the platform Zoom and/or in-person (Bloor West Village – Toronto).
